Key Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and maintain Django-based backend applications

Build REST APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF)

Implement and manage features like user registration, loan disbursement, KYC, credit checks, repayment tracking, and agreement generation

Secure integrations with third-party services (e.g., CIBIL-like APIs, SMS, Google Sheets, banking APIs)

Handle deployments using uWSGI, NGINX, cron jobs, and database SSL configurations

Write unit tests and maintain high code quality

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend, support, and data science

Ensure API security (decorators, brute-force protection) and compliance with data privacy standards

Tech Stack:

Languages: Python

Frameworks: Django, Django REST Framework

Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL (with SSL)

Tools: Git (with submodules), uWSGI, NGINX

Others: Cron jobs, PDF/image handling, XML parsing, API integrations

Requirements:

B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent

5+ years of backend experience in Python & Django

3+ years with DRF & RESTful API design

Strong understanding of KYC, loan processing, and payment workflows

Exposure to ML-based risk models

Experience with templates/static assets & invoice/PDF generation

Knowledge of referral, coupon, or promotional logic systems

Solid grasp of security, performance tuning, and large-scale deployment

Experience handling sensitive user/financial data securely
