Profile - Plant Head (O&M )
Location - Ahmedabad
Salary - Upto 40 LPA (Depends on Interview)

Key Responsibilities

1.Operational Leadership:
* Collaborate with the Reporting Manager to develop and implement operational strategy that ensures the reliability and efficient operation of the Waste to Energy Plant.
* Supervise and lead a team of operational and technical staff.
* Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement strategies for enhancing plant efficiency, reliability, and safety.
* Monitor daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and make informed decision to optimise plant performance.
2. Maintenance & Reliability:
* Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure regular maintenance, inspection, and repairs are conducted to minimise downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
* Implement best practices for preventative maintenance, implement outage plans and strategies to minimise downtime and maximise operational life of plant equipment.
* 3. Budgeting, Revenue and Cost Management:*
* Prepare & Compile Annual Operation Plan for annual budgets and financial plans (expenses & revenue) for the WtE plant’s operation & maintenance.
* Monitor and control operational expenses to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
* Develop extra revenue sources from compost, ash bricks, ashes, etc.
4. Performance Monitoring, Improvement and Reporting:
* Analyse Operational data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost effectiveness and overall performance.
* Implement measures to optimise plant performance and achieve production targets.
* Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on operation, financial performance, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
5. Team Development:
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the operation & maintenance team, Foster a culture of continuous learning, skill development, and team work.
* Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs to enhance team members’ skill and knowledge.
6. Emergency Response and Crisis Management:
* Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to address potential plant disruptions or accidents.
* Coordinate with relevant authorities and internal teams during crisis situations.
7. Others:
* EPR Certificates’ (Marketing, price approvals, ensure MIS upto date), Ensure CDM data framing & upkeep, Liaison with statutory bodies with excellent communication skills.
