Highest Qualification/Specific Certification - Btech or MSC Environment Science.

Key Responsibilities:

* Interacting & liaison with CPCB & State Pollution Control Board, applying for environmental clearance of power plants in various regions, applying for Consent to Operate (CTO) & Consent to Establish (CTE), responsible for EPR as Corporate resource.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards within the power industry.
* Develop and implement regulatory strategies and policies to support business objectives.
* Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry bodies to maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments.
* Prepare and submit regulatory reports, documentation, and applications as required.
* Provide expert advice on regulatory matters to internal stakeholders, including risk assessments and compliance solutions.
* Lead and manage audits and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met in product development and operations.
* Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues to anticipate impacts on the organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

* Proven experience in regulatory affairs within the power industry, with a minimum of 14 year in the field.
* Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance processes.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
